Mechanic Technician I

About the role

The Mechanic Technician I will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a variety of mechanical equipment at Halliburton’s Cairo site. The role supports safe and efficient operation of equipment while ensuring compliance with the Halliburton Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks on assigned mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs to restore equipment functionality.
• Conduct function testing to verify equipment readiness after maintenance.
• Interpret and work from mechanical schematics, drawings and prints.
• Enter accurate maintenance data into Halliburton’s record‑keeping system.
• Follow detailed work processes defined by the Halliburton Management System.
• Assist colleagues as directed and ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certificate preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a mechanical field.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics and drawings.
• Commitment to safety, quality and Halliburton’s procedural standards.
