Middle Manual QA Engineer

About the role

Vertex Technologies is looking for a Middle Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality and usability of web, mobile and backend applications. You will work on a variety of testing activities while being supported by mentors and a strong QA community.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual testing to validate functionality and usability across platforms.
• Design, develop and execute test plans, test cases and checklists for web, mobile and backend applications.
• Conduct regression, integration, smoke and exploratory testing as part of the release cycle.
• Identify risks early and propose mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with a mentor and tech lead to develop hard and soft skills.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience testing Web, Mobile or Desktop applications.
• Understanding of software development life‑cycle (SDLC) and client‑server architecture.
• Ability to switch quickly between tasks and work independently.
• Upper‑Intermediate English proficiency.

Required skills

• Manual testing techniques (regression, integration, smoke, exploratory).
• Test plan and test case design.
• Bug‑tracking and version‑control systems.
• API testing and basic SQL.
