Non-Medical Buyer

About the role

The Non-Medical Buyer is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end procurement process for non‑medical supplies. This role ensures that purchase requests are turned into accurate supply orders, negotiated with suppliers, and delivered on time to support operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Receive purchase requests, issue supply orders and forward them to suppliers.
• Negotiate price quotes to obtain the best price, quality and payment terms.
• Track supply orders with vendors to guarantee timely delivery.
• Coordinate with warehouse management and relevant departments to prepare receiving locations.
• Create and maintain reports on issued supply orders to monitor timelines.
• Maintain a supplier ledger, verify legality and match invoices for safe payment release.
• Work with finance to complete payment processes as defined in contracts.
• Communicate with warehouse to replace or return items nearing expiry.
• Compile monthly reports of received supply orders to support purchasing and storage planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in non‑medical procurement.
• Proficiency in using computers.
• Ability to create and manage a supplier database.
