Operations Executive (Freight Forwarding)

About the role
We are seeking an Operations Executive to support our freight forwarding activities. You will act as a key liaison between carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure shipments move smoothly from the port of loading to the port of discharge.
Key responsibilities
- Handle rate requests with shipping lines and airlines via email and phone.
- Track export shipments from POL to POD, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any delays.
- Prepare Master Bills of Lading and other required shipping documentation.
- Negotiate shipping rates and schedules with carriers.
- Communicate shipment status updates to customers.
- Maintain operational records and assist with invoicing processes.
Required profile
- 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and follow‑ups efficiently.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
