Part‑time Remote Peer Reviewer – Rehabilitation Medicine (PhD)

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD in Rehabilitation Medicine or a related field to join our long‑term, part‑time remote peer‑review team. The role involves evaluating scholarly manuscripts submitted to academic journals and providing constructive feedback to authors and editors.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity, validity, and significance.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and ethical concerns.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection based on your evaluation.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in Rehabilitation Medicine or a closely related discipline.
• At least five peer‑reviewable publications in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality, objectivity, and ethical standards.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.
