Procurement Specialist (French B2)

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will support the procurement function for Egypt and the Sub‑Saharan region, ensuring timely creation and processing of purchase requisitions, orders and invoices. The role requires strong French communication skills (B2) and close collaboration with requestors, suppliers and internal finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create purchase requisitions (PR) and purchase orders (PO) in the local tool following approved workflows, and distribute PO PDFs to requestors.
• Monitor supplier acknowledgements, delivery notes and goods receipt (GR) activities, training end‑users on GR to avoid invoice holds.
• Act as the interface between requestors and the Accounts Payable team to resolve payment and invoice discrepancies, reviewing holds up to 90 days.
• Manage vendor onboarding documents, validate supplier information, and maintain accurate records in the vendor management system.
• Support spot‑buy processes, including RFQ preparation, NDA distribution, bid collection and negotiation, ensuring compliance with sourcing policies.

Required profile

• 6 months to 2 years of experience in procurement, vendor management or related functions.
• French language proficiency at B2 level.
• Based in Egypt (Fifth Settlement or Mahmasha) with the ability to support the Sub‑Saharan region.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
