Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage the end‑to‑end purchase order process, ensuring timely delivery and optimal value for our organization. You will work closely with both local and international suppliers, particularly manufacturers in China, to support short lead‑time orders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full purchase order cycle from request to delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers, especially Chinese manufacturers, and understand their production processes.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve best value.
• Monitor inventory levels and participate in stock‑taking activities.
• Ensure timely procurement to meet short lead‑time orders.
• Utilize computer systems to manage purchasing data and generate reports.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work efficiently under pressure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in purchasing or a related role.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
• Understanding of inventory management and stock control.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Experience dealing with local and international suppliers.
• Knowledge of plastic and glass products is a plus.
