Procurement Specialist

About the role

Dawam Business Solutions is hiring a full-time Procurement Specialist in Mohandseen. The specialist receives purchasing requests, works with suppliers to deliver materials on time according to department procedures, and issues purchase orders and requests for quotations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive purchasing requests and liaise with suppliers to deliver materials by the agreed date, following the procurement department's Standard Operating Procedures.
• Search for and contact suppliers, negotiate prices, terms, conditions and delivery dates for technically approved items, and track PRs and POs, taking action on delays.
• Issue POs and PRs for approved offers, submit them to the supply chain manager for final approval, and coordinate with finance for supplier payments.
• Follow up with vendors so delivery matches technical acceptance and the PO and PR requirements.
• Research and select the best shipping offers based on delivery time, price and method.
• Keep RFQs, POs and deliveries logged accurately and up to date in the ERP system.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1 to 3 years of experience; previous experience in marketing agencies is preferred.
• Experience with marketing and production house agencies is preferred.
