Procurement Team Leader

About the role

LEONI, a global provider of products, solutions and services for energy and data management in the automotive industry, is hiring a Procurement Team Leader in Nasr City. The role manages and supervises the Procurement Management unit according to defined objectives and KPIs, with functional accountability for procurement on the production facility level.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Procurement Management unit, identify improvement opportunities and contribute to better service delivery
• Ensure adherence to standards and governance and lead direct reports, defining their objectives, tasks and responsibilities
• Plan regular team activities, monitor results and identify training and development needs
• Ensure accurate and efficient raw material supply and manage supplier integration (localization, consignment and logistics agreements, delivery performance)
• Maintain optimal raw material stock levels and avoid excess and obsolete stock

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
• 5-8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or material planning in a manufacturing environment, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Fluent English, written and spoken, with strong professional communication and reporting skills

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel (formulas, data analysis, tracking tools)
• SAP experience highly preferred
• Strong understanding of MRP logic and inventory control
