Product Research and Development Engineer

About the role

EVYAP is seeking a Product Research and Development Engineer to lead formulation, laboratory, stability and production trials for new and improved products. You will work closely with marketing, private‑brand units and production teams to turn innovative ideas into market‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑department formulation, laboratory, stability and production trials for new products and cost‑reduction or ingredient‑change projects.
• Manage all documentation, ensuring signed formulas are submitted to production and quality control or approved through the system.
• Monitor domestic and international product innovations, compare performance and cost, and report findings to management.
• Plan, conceptualize and create electromechanical designs that improve product productivity and quality.
• Lead innovative product development studies, reviewing trends, patents and collaborating with relevant departments.
• Ensure required tests (dermatological, microbiological, claim, consumer) are performed before market launch.
• Assess the impact of production processes on formulations and oversee raw‑material studies.
• Enter final product recipes into SAP and share them with relevant units.
• Support project execution, article and patent submissions, and resolve raw‑material quality issues.
• Prepare input control and finished‑product analysis reports and related laboratory studies.

Required profile

• Experience in product formulation and laboratory testing.
• Ability to control and manage technical documentation.
• Knowledge of production processes, technologies and their effect on product performance.
• Familiarity with market innovation monitoring and competitive analysis.
