Production Planning and Scheduling Assistant Analyst

About the role

The Production Planning and Scheduling Assistant Analyst supports the creation and execution of daily and weekly production plans, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts and export commitments. The role works closely with manufacturing, material planning, and commercial teams to maintain smooth operations and meet financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Set daily and weekly production plans based on sales AOP and forecast adjustments.
• Review daily production attainment, analyse gaps, and ensure monthly plan compliance.
• Manage export volume planning, share order quantities with warehouses and deployment teams.
• Synchronise production plans with raw‑material stocks and deliveries in collaboration with the material planning team.
• Run the master production scheduler on the ISCP system, develop root‑cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Coordinate line maintenance activities to avoid disruptions to the production schedule.
• Collaborate with commercial, engineering and manufacturing teams on forecast changes, new SKU launches and asset utilisation.

Required profile

• Solid experience in supply‑chain functions, preferably in FMCG.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (preferred).
• 0‑2 years of experience in a production planning environment.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical thinking, proactive attitude and problem‑solving capability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets.
• Proficiency with Word documents.
• Experience using the ISCP master production scheduling system.
