About the role
The German University in Cairo invites applications for a full‑time Professor or Associate Professor in Civil and Commercial Law. The position starts in September 2026 and involves teaching undergraduate courses within the Law and Legal Studies program.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate lectures and seminars in subjects such as Evidence of Law, Law of Civil and Commercial Procedures, and Enforcement.
- Develop teaching materials, case studies, and assessment tools.
- Collaborate with department colleagues on curriculum design and research initiatives.
- Engage with the broader legal community through consulting, publications, and professional memberships.
Required profile
- Doctorate degree in Law with a strong record of teaching, research, and publications.
- Demonstrated experience in civil and commercial law, including industry exposure.
- Student‑oriented teaching philosophy and active participation in the legal and business community.
