Project Manager Core Banking

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of critical core banking and digital banking initiatives. The role requires strong expertise in managing complex software projects within the banking sector, coordinating cross‑functional technical teams, and ensuring delivery aligns with regulatory and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of core banking software projects, defining scope, timelines, resources and deliverables.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and business stakeholders to align project objectives.
• Manage the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment, monitoring milestones, risks and dependencies.
• Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with banking regulations and security standards.
• Provide regular progress, risk and performance updates to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of experience in software project management, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise‑scale software projects.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Project‑management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are a plus.
