Quantity Surveying Project Manager

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for a Quantity Surveying Project Manager in Cairo. The role manages the commercial side of a construction project at a senior level, overseeing cost planning, contract negotiation and financial risk control, and acts as the link between project management and quantity surveying.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for all quantity surveying and commercial matters.
• Lead the development of cost plans, budgets and contractual strategies.
• Oversee claims, dispute resolution and contract negotiations.
• Work with the Project Manager on decisions and progress monitoring.
• Supervise and review the performance of the QS team and consultants.
• Give strategic input on value engineering and cost optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards and regulations.
• Review monthly cost reports, forecasts and risk assessments.
• Support procurement strategy and subcontractor selection.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or Construction Management.
• At least 14 years of experience in QS and project-based roles, including managerial experience.
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.
• PMP, MRICS or equivalent certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of commercial project management and contract law, especially FIDIC.
• Proficiency in project and cost management software.
• Very good English.
