Research Manager

About the role

Mastercard Services, which provides end-to-end services such as consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, test-and-learn experimentation and data-driven information and risk management, is hiring a Research Manager in Cairo. The role sits within the Advisors Research Center, a global research competency that supports clients worldwide by turning research into actionable insights and recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver new research products and strategies to market smoothly and efficiently
• Leverage research assets to deliver challenging, impactful research output for clients
• Provide key insights based on secondary research and analysis of available data

Required profile

• Experience on a variety of research projects in both agency and client settings
• Experience with primary research: preparing questionnaires and discussion flows, in-depth interviews, focus group moderation, survey and chart analysis
• Fluent local office language and English required; other languages desirable

Required skills

• Adept use of industry databases such as Euromonitor and Bloomberg, and knowledge of other leading sources
• Ability to synthesize and analyze information from multiple sources and to prepare client-ready slides
• Strong business writing and communication skills, including participation in client calls and internal meetings
• Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of project management tools preferred
