About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant, Bars & Experiences Manager to lead the food and beverage operations of the upcoming Mandarin Oriental, Luxor. The role combines operational oversight, guest experience excellence, and commercial performance in a luxury resort setting.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of all restaurants, bars, lounges and experiential dining concepts, ensuring service standards meet Mandarin Oriental and Forbes expectations.
- Drive profitability and operational efficiency through cost control, revenue optimisation and analysis of financial performance.
- Lead, coach and develop a multicultural Food & Beverage team, fostering a highly engaged, service‑oriented culture.
- Conduct regular operational briefings, communicate daily priorities, promotions and service standards to all staff.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, hygiene standards, local health and safety regulations and brand guidelines.
- Monitor guest feedback, analyse performance data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and execute innovative guest programming and experiential dining activations that reflect local culture and luxury positioning.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing multiple food and beverage outlets in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
- Strong leadership, coaching and team‑development capabilities.
- Commercial acumen with a track record of achieving profitability targets.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and upholding brand standards.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting with a growth‑mindset.
