Senior Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist to manage end‑to‑end accounting processes, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to maintain accurate financial records and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Apply appropriate accounting treatments, maintain accurate records, and prepare timely reconciliations for assigned areas.
• Manage vehicle CBU shipment costing, spare parts costing, and related documentation.
• Oversee payables for productive suppliers, customs‑related accounts, and dealer payables.
• Record and reconcile bank transactions, transitory accounts, and intercompany balances for local affiliates.
• Conduct quarterly internal control checks and implement process improvements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close, prepare reporting packages, and assist with audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a reputable university.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting or auditing.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
