Senior HSE Engineer – Manufacturing Safety Lead

About the role

Lead and develop the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) strategy across Kandil Glass manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with Egyptian labor law, environmental regulations and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE strategy for all plants.
• Ensure full compliance with Egyptian Labor Law, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Oversee plant safety audits, customer/client audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Manage fire protection systems, emergency response plans and environmental monitoring programs.
• Build a proactive safety culture and drive continuous improvement toward a zero‑accident workplace.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
• 5‑8 years of HSE experience in heavy or process manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Certified Advanced HSE Specialist from the Ministry of Labor.
• NEBOSH IGC or NEBOSH Diploma highly preferred.

Required skills
