Senior Inspector - Quality Assurance (Denim)

About the role

Li & Fung is looking for a Senior Inspector to lead quality assurance for denim products in New Cairo. You will ensure that all garments meet the highest standards of quality, sustainability and customer specifications throughout the production cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑line and final inspections, identify quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Evaluate samples against product specifications and customer quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance to merchandisers, factories and customers.
• Deliver proactive QA advice before and during manufacturing.
• Analyze and troubleshoot quality problems from bulk production to finished garments.
• Perform fabric pre‑production assessments in line with the quality manual.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on product development and production.
• Communicate quality concerns promptly to stakeholders.
• Define tolerance levels and ensure garment construction aligns with approved samples.
• Develop and continuously improve QA methodologies and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in denim or apparel manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and AQL standards.
• Proven ability to lead corrective actions and work with factories.
