Senior Java Back End Developer

About the role

ExeQut is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to join its international consulting team. You will work remotely with U.S.-based clients, collaborating across product, frontend, and DevOps groups to deliver enterprise‑grade solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Contribute to development tasks under senior guidance, following best‑practice coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, sprint planning, and production issue troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and DevOps engineers to ensure seamless delivery.
• Assist with requirement elicitation and solution scoping when needed.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional or project‑based experience in backend Java development.
• Foundational hands‑on experience with Spring Boot and REST API design.
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Availability to work core U.S. East Coast hours (9 AM‑1 PM EST) Monday‑Friday.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
