Staff iOS Engineer

About the role

Mylo is a fast‑growing fintech platform in Egypt that offers buy‑now‑pay‑later solutions across thousands of merchants. The company is looking for a Staff iOS Engineer to design, build and scale secure, high‑performance mobile applications that power its financial products. This senior‑level role will work closely with product, design and backend teams to deliver new features and improve existing ones.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced iOS applications using Swift and modern architectural patterns.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design and ship new features.
• Write unit tests and perform thorough testing to ensure robustness, usability and reliability.
• Identify and fix bugs, optimise performance and improve the overall user experience.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools to increase development efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• At least 8 years of professional experience developing iPhone applications.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle and current iOS ecosystem.
• Experience integrating third‑party libraries and APIs, and publishing at least one original iOS app.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and deliver high‑quality code.
