Senior Procurement Engineer (Steel Materials)

About the role

The Senior Procurement Engineer will lead the sourcing and acquisition of direct steel materials for our production facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring a reliable supply of steel sheets, coils, profiles and pipes while optimizing cost and delivery performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement activities for steel sheets, coils, structural sections and pipes.
• Execute local and international sourcing strategies, evaluate suppliers and conduct negotiations on price, terms and delivery schedules.
• Guarantee timely material availability to meet production plans.
• Monitor market trends, steel price fluctuations and supplier performance.
• Support cost‑reduction initiatives and value‑creation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of procurement experience, with a minimum of 2 years focused on direct steel materials.
• Proven experience in sourcing steel products both locally and internationally.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management and contract administration capabilities.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, market analysis and cost optimisation techniques.
