Senior Site Engineer – Project Management & Supervision

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Site Engineer to lead the full lifecycle of internal industrial projects in New Capital, Cairo. The role blends project management, technical design, and on‑site supervision to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete project lifecycle, including scope definition, detailed scheduling, resource planning, and budget tracking.
• Prepare preliminary engineering drawings for new projects, renovations, or infrastructure developments.
• Develop detailed Bill of Quantities, calculate material requirements, and establish initial cost estimates.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate technical bids, and initiate purchase requests for procurement.
• Hand over project sites to contractors and coordinate with internal departments to resolve obstacles during start‑up and execution phases.
• Provide daily on‑site supervision of contractors and internal labor to ensure technical and physical accuracy.
• Conduct phased inspections of civil, architectural, and mechanical works to verify compliance with drawings, quality standards, and building codes.
• Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets, manage variation orders, and provide accurate financial forecasts.
• Facilitate smooth handover of completed projects to production and maintenance teams, including documentation, training, and warranties.
• Mentor junior engineers on project management best practices and site supervision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional experience in project management within the industrial sector.
• Deep knowledge of CAPEX project execution cycles, cost‑control techniques, and industrial safety codes.
• Proven ability to supervise industrial contractors and interpret complex engineering drawings across multiple disciplines.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent negotiation, conflict‑resolution, and site‑coordination skills.
