Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

GI Properties is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join its finance team in Egypt. This full‑time, on‑site position will lead tax compliance activities, ensure accurate filing of returns, and support the company’s strategic tax planning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all tax compliance activities for the organization.
• Prepare, review, and file corporate tax returns accurately and on time.
• Conduct tax research and analyze local and international tax regulations.
• Prepare financial data reports and identify tax‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide guidance on tax‑related matters.
• Liaise with tax authorities as required.

Required profile

• Comprehensive knowledge of tax preparation, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong proficiency in financial analysis and data reporting.
• Exceptional tax research skills and understanding of local and international tax laws.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and analytical abilities.
• Minimum 3 years of tax/accounting experience.
• CPA or relevant professional certification highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
