Senior Training & Education Manager

About the role

Medtronic is looking for a Senior Training & Education Manager to lead education initiatives that support clinical excellence, healthcare professional engagement and therapy adoption. The role supports a regional or international portfolio and works closely with commercial, marketing, medical affairs, clinical and therapy teams. It is based in the CEE region covering Turkey, Egypt and Malaysia, with a remote work style and travel of 50% or more to support physician education programs, training events and key regional meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional Training & Education strategies aligned with therapy, customer and business priorities.
• Design, deliver and evaluate education programs for healthcare professionals, physicians, distributors and internal teams.
• Build partnerships with key opinion leaders, medical societies, academic institutions and clinical stakeholders.
• Lead physician engagement activities that strengthen clinical competency and support therapy adoption.
• Drive digital learning solutions, virtual education programs and innovative training methodologies.
• Collaborate with commercial, marketing, medical affairs and clinical teams to align educational initiatives across the region.
• Manage education program budgets, performance metrics and resource allocation in line with company and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 8+ years of experience in training and education, healthcare, medical devices, life sciences or a related commercial education environment.
• Experience designing and delivering education programs for healthcare professionals across multiple countries or regions.
• Experience partnering with physicians, KOLs and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience managing complex projects, budgets and educational program performance metrics.
• Experience in regulated healthcare environments and applying healthcare compliance standards.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with surgical technologies, robotic-assisted surgery, capital equipment or procedure-based medical device therapies.
• Digital learning platforms, virtual education solutions or AI-enabled learning tools.
• People leadership experience, including coaching, talent development and team management.
• MBA or other advanced business, scientific or clinical qualification.
• International market experience with distributor and direct market models.
