Senior Training Specialist – Communication & Media

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Senior Training Specialist to design and deliver communication and media training programmes for the EU‑MENA outreach project. The role supports DG MENA in strengthening the visibility and impact of EU policies across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver communication and media training programmes, workshops and seminars.
• Develop training materials, toolkits, presentations and practical exercises for diverse audiences.
• Conduct capacity‑building sessions on strategic communication, media engagement and digital communication.
• Facilitate interactive workshops, group discussions and simulation exercises.
• Assess participants' learning needs and adapt training content accordingly.
• Evaluate training outcomes and prepare post‑training reports with recommendations.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to communication professionals and institutional stakeholders.
• Support the creation of sustainable learning resources and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in communication/media or comparable professional experience.
• Proven facilitation skills.
• Fluent in English and, where relevant, French and/or Arabic.
• Minimum 5 years of general experience in communication/media.
• At least 3 years of specific experience designing and delivering training seminars.
