Senior Workshop Engineer – Automotive

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Workshop Engineer to lead our automotive workshop in Katameya, Cairo. The role involves overseeing repair operations, ensuring quality and efficiency, and coordinating with management to align the workshop with the company's vision.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with management team to craft the company’s vision and mission.
• Organize workflow and ensure that employees in the workshop understand their duties and delegated tasks.
• Monitor productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Ensure repairs are completed within promised delivery time and estimated cost.
• Receive complaints and resolve problems.
• Follow up on inspections and test drives of repaired vehicles.
• Supervise processes to maximize workshop efficiency.
• Return vehicles failing quality control to the responsible technician with detailed feedback.
• Guide technicians to resolve issues and ensure proper utilization of service facilities and equipment.
• Oversee maintenance of workshop equipment and assign responsibilities to staff.

Required profile

• BSc in Automotive Engineering or a relevant field.
• Proven experience as a workshop engineer in the automotive sector.
• Very good command of the English language.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well‑organized with excellent leadership qualities.
