Store Operative – Cairo Airport Duty Free

About the role

The Store Operative supports all on‑floor operational activities within the duty‑free environment at Cairo International Airport. You will ensure accurate stock handling, compliance with duty‑free regulations and HSSE standards, and maintain store readiness for high‑traffic passenger flows.

Key responsibilities

• Follow receiving SOPs, duty‑free regulations and HSSE standards at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and sales floor, adhering to visual‑merchandising and safety requirements.
• Process inbound and outbound deliveries, verifying barcodes, ticketing and documentation.
• Execute pricing updates, markdowns, relabeling and ensure accurate ticketing across all products.
• Handle returns to vendor (RTVs), transfers, damaged items and prevent unregistered items from reaching the floor.
• Maintain system accuracy through precise scanning, timely data entry, reporting and support cycle counts.
• Assist with stock counts, replenishment and product packing during peak periods to guarantee product availability.

• Flexibility to work during peak travel times and adapt to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Barcode scanning proficiency.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
