Strategic Cost & Pricing Manager

About the role

La Poire Group, a leading food and beverage conglomerate in Egypt, is seeking a Strategic Cost & Pricing Manager to drive cost efficiency and profitability across its portfolio of pastry, bakery, food and beverage brands. The role will combine deep analytical expertise with strategic pricing to support new product development and expansion initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain accurate product costing based on standard recipes, monitoring material, labor and overhead variances.
• Conduct regular and surprise inventory audits for factories and retail branches.
• Develop and implement pricing models aligned with the premium brand positioning, adjusting prices in response to inflation, currency changes and raw‑material cost spikes.
• Apply menu‑engineering techniques to evaluate product profitability versus popularity and recommend menu optimisations.
• Partner with R&D and executive chefs to cost and price new products, ensuring target margins.
• Perform financial feasibility studies for new branches, product lines and catering contracts.
• Produce monthly profitability reports by branch, product line and sales channel for senior management.
• Oversee and enhance cost‑accounting modules within the ERP system, ensuring integration with POS and inventory systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CMA or MBA preferred.
• 7–10 years of cost and pricing experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role within F&B, hospitality or FMCG.
• Proven track record of driving cost control, pricing strategy and menu engineering.
