Team Leader, Dark Stores (First Mile)

About the role

The Team Leader, Dark Stores (First Mile) will oversee the efficient operation of one to two dark‑store facilities, ensuring fast, reliable fulfillment for Noon’s hyper‑local delivery service across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the assigned Dark Stores (1‑2) across fulfillment and logistics functions.
• Optimize consumables (packaging material) usage and reduce waste.
• Maintain basic safety stock levels to avoid order‑processing disruptions.
• Ensure proper use of packaging tools and drive ground processes.
• Accurately account for consumable purchases from sellers and integrate them into the WMS and consumable management tools.
• Track and drive key cost KPIs to meet performance and cost objectives.
• Utilize ERP functions and reports to maximize output and efficiency.
• Train, guide and evaluate warehouse staff on ERP best practices.
• Plan and assign daily work, address performance issues and improve floor productivity.
• Communicate and collaborate with cross‑functional team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in e‑commerce or a related field.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Creative and analytical problem‑solver with a growth mindset.
• Ability to deliver results in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment.
• High standards, resourceful and bias for action.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (V‑lookup, Pivot Tables, complex formulas).
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management System (WMS) and consumable management tools.
