Trade Marketing Channel Manager

About the role

The Trade Marketing Channel Manager develops and coordinates trade marketing and insights activities to maximise the potential of the Red Bull brand in the trade while keeping its personality and values. The role covers internal, trade and shopper communications, coordination between marketing and sales, POS development and implementation, category management projects, trials and sales analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Help develop trade marketing strategies and recommend trade-led activities supported by commercial backing
• Create and develop communication channels for internal, trade and shopper levels
• Align sales and marketing activities, exchange ideas between departments and build an internal network across Communications, Brand, Sales, Logistics and Finance
• Define the perfect store by channel for the market using the international model and support alignment across customers and channels
• Implement and develop POS tools so they follow brand guidelines, fit country needs and are financially viable
• Identify opportunities and quantify them, analyse sales development by customer, channel and distribution point, evaluate promotions and run category management projects with top customers
• Work face to face with key customers to improve category performance and support Key Account Managers on other accounts

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in trade marketing, sales or category management
• FMCG background is a must; beverage industry is a plus
• Strong market planning and analytical skills, and strong budget tracking and management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving ability and teamwork
• Proactive, innovative and able to challenge traditional approaches
