Utility Engineer – Operations & Maintenance

About the role

The Utility Engineer will lead the operation and maintenance of utility equipment at our Ain Sokhna plant. Reporting to the Utility Section Supervisor, you will ensure that all machines function according to specifications and that maintenance programs are effectively executed.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise utility operators in daily operation and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor equipment performance to guarantee compliance with technical specifications.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all utility assets.
• Investigate equipment failures, diagnose root causes, and recommend remedial actions.
• Collect, analyse, and interpret operational data to improve troubleshooting processes.
• Prepare and manage spare parts inventories for utility equipment.
• Develop and update technical documentation, including standard operating procedures for existing and new equipment.
• Select appropriate tools, equipment, and technologies for operational efficiency.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Power Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in utility or industrial equipment maintenance.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent written and spoken English; French is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD; SolidWorks preferred.
