Visual Merchandiser – Retail Store

About the role

The Visual Merchandiser will ensure that the store’s visual presentation follows IKEA’s manuals and fully embodies the IKEA Concept. Working closely with the Visual Merchandising Leader and internal teams, you will create functional and attractive home‑furnishing displays that support commercial activities while complying with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate in‑store displays such as compact areas, accessory shops, shop windows and activity podiums.
• Maintain brand integrity by following IKEA manuals and creating functional home‑furnishing solutions.
• Collaborate with sales, logistics and visual merchandising teams to align displays with commercial calendars and projects.
• Ensure display solutions are cost‑effective, safe, environmentally friendly and compliant with local legislation.
• Stay updated on home‑furnishing trends relevant to the local market.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Product Design, Applied Arts or Architecture.
• 0‑3 years of experience in retail interior design, architectural planning or visual merchandising.
• Passion for interior design, home furnishings and strong market awareness.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
