Workshop Engineer – Mechanical Maintenance

About the role
Pharmaplast is seeking a Workshop Engineer to join its Engineering department in Alexandria’s free‑zone. The role focuses on maintaining and rebuilding critical mechanical equipment to ensure uninterrupted production.
Key responsibilities
- Disassemble, inspect and rebuild major mechanical components such as pumps, gearboxes, valves and motors to original manufacturing specifications.
- Fabricate new parts or modify existing ones using workshop machinery including lathes, milling machines, welding equipment and hand tools.
- Manage spare‑parts inventory, maintain specialized tooling and uphold a safe, organized workshop environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, overhauling or workshop machining.
- Residency in Alexandria is mandatory.
