Android Software Engineer 2

About the role

MaxAB is looking for an Android Software Engineer 2 to lead the design, implementation, and quality assurance of its mobile applications. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring smooth releases and rapid resolution of production issues.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and advise on technical solutions for both business and non‑business requirements.
• Conduct daily code reviews and enforce best practices across the Android squad.
• Plan and align Android release schedules with other product squads.
• Analyze new releases, investigate production bugs, and drive root‑cause resolution.
• Define and execute code‑base refactoring, unit, and UI testing strategies.
• Facilitate communication of Android requirements between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Provide regular status updates on Android releases to senior technology management.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an Android developer.
• Portfolio demonstrating complex Android projects.
• Strong passion for learning new technologies and continuous improvement.
• Hands‑on experience across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
