Associate Product Specialist, Product Management

About the role

Mastercard is recruiting an Associate Product Specialist within its Product Management team in Cairo, Egypt, as part of its Launch Program. This 18-month program combines hands-on experience, structured learning and mentorship from industry leaders, so participants work on real business challenges and build a strong foundation in their chosen field.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and own tasks across the product life cycle and assist in tracking progress against key milestones.
• Work with various product lines and technologies, including Analytics, APIs, Artificial Intelligence, Cryptocurrency/Blockchain, Cybersecurity, Loyalty, Marketing, Open Banking and Payments.
• Provide competitive landscape, trends, consumer insights, research and end-to-end program analytics.
• Collaborate with business and engineering teams to track progress and identify dependencies and risks.
• Help shape product visions from market and customer needs, and run iterative experiments to prioritize features for each release.
• Measure product and business metrics, develop pricing strategies and present to sales and partnership meetings.
• Speak with existing and prospective customers, help resolve escalated operational issues and project-manage strategic initiatives.
• Evaluate opportunities to use AI and data-driven capabilities, and work with technical teams to turn emerging technologies into customer and business value.

Required profile

• Anticipated graduation date between Spring 2027.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment, able to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
• Organized, detail-oriented, with good planning and time management skills.
• Curious about emerging technologies and understands how AI can create customer and business value.

Required skills

• Foundational knowledge of AI, data, APIs and modern technology platforms.
