Software Engineer II - Salesforce

About the role

Specright is a purpose-built, patented platform for specification management that helps companies digitize and map their supply chain. It is hiring a Software Engineer II for its Engineering team, working closely with senior engineers to design and develop software systems. The engineer works on the majority of the company's core tech stack and collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success and Software Engineering teams. The company is 100% remote.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations, Sales and Product teams to design and scope new features for the core platform
• Architect solutions based on requirements documents for larger features
• Design a data schema that evolves with the needs of the business
• Work with Salesforce technologies in the Salesforce ecosystem

Required profile

• Minimum BS in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Experience building complex software systems and communicating with users, technical teams and senior management to gather requirements and describe product features, designs and strategy
• Understanding of professional software engineering practices across the full software life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing and operations
• Experience with agile development methodology

Required skills

• 2+ years of Salesforce development experience
• Experience with AI tools and familiarity with an agentic SDLC
• Experience developing Salesforce managed packages is a plus
• Salesforce development certification is a plus
