BIM Technician Public Health & Fire Fighting

About the role

Hire Pals is partnering with a multidisciplinary design consultancy to hire a Public Health BIM Technician to support the delivery of complex building projects and lead electrical design activities across multiple project stages. The role suits an experienced electrical design professional who will take ownership of technical delivery, coordinate with multiple disciplines, engage with clients and guide junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure BIM compliance and quality.
• Develop and coordinate BIM models.
• Support multidisciplinary coordination.
• Maintain CAD/BIM standards and project files.
• Perform Navisworks clash detection and assist in clash resolution.
• Participate in coordination meetings and workshops.
• Support project delivery strategies and workflow improvements.
• Check drawing quality and ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Coordinate with regional design teams when required.

Required profile

• 2‑8 years of experience as a BIM Technician in Public Health & Fire Fighting.
• Degree or relevant professional qualification.
• Strong knowledge of public health and fire fighting systems.
• Excellent English communication.
• Familiarity with codes, regulations and submission requirements.
