MEP Procurement & Contracts Engineer

About the role

The MEP Procurement and Contracts Engineer is a full‑time, on‑site position based in New Cairo. You will lead the end‑to‑end procurement process for mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) materials and services, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate commercial terms.
• Draft and process purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and internal project teams.
• Review contracts and purchase agreements for technical and commercial compliance.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and support cost control and budget monitoring.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and optimise procurement processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics engineering or a related field.
• Prior experience in MEP contracting or construction procurement, preferably with fit‑out or turnkey projects.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities, with high attention to detail and ethical standards.
