MEP Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced MEP Engineer to manage the mechanical, electrical and plumbing aspects of construction projects in Egypt. The role involves reviewing contract documents, coordinating with other disciplines, and ensuring that all work complies with quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review contract drawings, specifications and submittals for compliance and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Approve shop drawings, material submissions and method statements, ensuring they meet design and contract requirements.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify quality of work, material usage and adherence to approved drawings.
• Monitor and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and ensure proper execution of quality verification forms.
• Provide technical support for cost, time impact assessments, and assist the planning engineer with activity sequencing.
• Participate in technical meetings, progress reviews and coordinate close‑out documentation, including as‑built drawings and commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Excellent command of English.
• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in MEP engineering and construction.
