About the role
The Business Banking Assistant Relationship Manager will support Mashreq Bank’s growth in Egypt by acquiring new SME and retail customers and deepening relationships with existing accounts. The role focuses on promoting liability products, cash‑management solutions and digital banking services while meeting assigned sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Promote and sell liability products (deposits, current and savings accounts) to attract low‑cost funding.
- Offer payment, collection and cash‑management solutions tailored to client business models.
- Generate new business through leads, referrals, cold‑calling and outbound visits.
- Achieve monthly liability and revenue targets and expand trade‑finance business.
- Drive adoption of online and digital banking channels.
- Maintain high account conduct, resolve issues promptly and ensure compliance with policies.
- Provide regular market feedback to improve products and services.
- Participate in sales meetings, coach junior staff and contribute to team MBO/KPI goals.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of experience in a relationship‑manager or sales role within banking.
- Customer‑focused, target‑driven and able to work under pressure.
- Excellent spoken English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Strong selling, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to document accurately and follow compliance procedures.
Required skills
- Effective sales and negotiation techniques.
- Knowledge of banking products, cash‑management and digital channels.
- Proficiency in preparing documentation and reporting.
