Category Manager – Grocery & Essentials

About the role

Rabbit is looking for a proactive Category Manager to lead the Snacks & Beverages (S&B) portfolio. You will shape the category strategy, work closely with suppliers and internal teams, and drive growth in a fast‑moving grocery delivery environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute a comprehensive strategy for the S&B category aligned with overall business goals.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure product quality, availability, and competitive pricing.
• Curate and manage a diverse range of S&B products.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and the competitive landscape.
• Monitor and analyze sales data to spot opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional strategies and in‑store displays.
• Ensure all products meet company standards for quality and safety.
• Oversee inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to reduce waste and optimize sales.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in category management, preferably in the food sector.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Passion for Snacks & Beverages and knowledge of current trends and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
