Classroom Teachers (All Subjects) Grades 1‑9

About the role

Silicon Valley International School in Egypt (SVIS) is seeking outstanding classroom teachers to deliver high‑quality learning in its British and American divisions for Grades 1‑9. The ideal candidates are student‑centered educators who collaborate with colleagues, use data to inform instruction, and create safe, caring classroom environments.

Key responsibilities

• Teach all subjects to students in Grades 1‑9 across British and American curricula.
• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons that promote student progress.
• Maintain positive behaviour routines and a supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and use data to improve learning outcomes.
• Ensure safeguarding standards are met and uphold child‑protection policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in the teaching subject or Education (Master’s a plus).
• Accredited teaching certificate (e.g., PGCE, IB, TEFL, CELTA) is a plus.
• 3–5+ years of successful teaching experience with evidence of student progress.
• English proficiency at C1‑C2 level; Arabic preferred for community communication.
• Current child‑protection training and clean background checks.
• Strong planning, assessment, teamwork, and growth‑mindset orientation.
