Cloud Engineer

About the role

Capgemini is looking for a Cloud Engineer to design, build and operate cloud infrastructure for its clients in Egypt. You will work in an agile, cross‑functional team to deliver secure, scalable solutions on AWS and Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Design, implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Configure secure network components such as VPCs, firewall rules and DNS.
• Collaborate with developers, security and operations teams to ensure best‑practice cloud usage.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and improve the reliability, performance and cost‑efficiency of cloud resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 4 years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform.
• CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
• Programming/scripting: Python, Typescript, Go, Bash, JavaScript, HTML.
• DevOps practices and security fundamentals.
• Networking concepts and firewall/DNS configuration.
