Cost Control Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Cost Control Manager to join the first Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt. You will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing expenses across all hotel departments while maintaining high guest satisfaction and service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly expense reports to identify cost variances and trends.
• Assist in preparing annual operating budgets and cost‑control forecasts with department heads.
• Track actual expenditures against budgeted amounts and produce variance reports.
• Oversee inventory management for food & beverage, housekeeping and maintenance, ensuring proper stock rotation and minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with the purchasing team to review and approve purchase orders, negotiate with suppliers and ensure competitive pricing.
• Prepare detailed cost‑control reports covering labor, food, beverage and operational costs for senior management.
• Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with cost‑control policies and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on financial performance.
• Experience in hospitality cost management or a similar environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
• Good communication skills for presenting findings to senior management.
