Cost Controller / Supervisor (Hospitality)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller / Supervisor to oversee cost monitoring, inventory, and purchasing across multiple luxury restaurant and nightlife venues. The role ensures financial discipline while supporting operational excellence in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily food & beverage costs for all outlets and prepare regular cost reports.
• Supervise inventory processes, conduct spot checks and monthly counts, and resolve variances.
• Verify purchase orders, invoices, and deliveries, coordinating with procurement to address discrepancies.
• Update menu costing, analyse recipe costs, and work with chefs and bar managers on pricing and portion control.
• Lead and train cost control staff, ensuring adherence to operational standards.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in luxury restaurants and nightlife operations.
• Proven experience in multi‑outlet environments.
• Strong leadership, high integrity, and ability to adapt quickly.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of cost control systems.
• Proficiency with inventory management software.
