Cybersecurity Governance & AI Internship – EMEA

About the role

Join Ericsson’s EMEA Enterprise Security team as a Cybersecurity Governance & AI Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience in security governance, risk management, compliance, and AI‑driven automation while supporting a global, multi‑national environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support Information Security Management System (ISMS) activities, including documentation, control tracking, Statements of Applicability and compliance reporting.
• Assist with cybersecurity risk management tasks such as risk identification, assessment, treatment tracking and reporting.
• Collect, analyse and present security‑related metrics to drive governance and compliance initiatives.
• Develop dashboards, reports and visualisations that improve visibility of risks, compliance status and security performance.
• Explore and prototype AI‑based solutions, including generative AI, to streamline governance, risk analysis and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with security professionals and business stakeholders across the EMEA region.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university degree or master’s program (Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics or related).
• Strong interest in cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance and AI.
• Basic understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST or CIS Controls.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities and good communication skills.

Required skills
