DevOps Associate Manager

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a DevOps Associate Manager to lead its DevSecOps team. You will drive efficiency, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure software delivery aligns with security principles across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a cross‑functional DevSecOps team, maintaining technical expertise and encouraging collaboration.
• Assess and refine development, deployment, and operations processes using DevOps best practices.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable software delivery.
• Manage and optimise private and public cloud infrastructure (OpenStack, OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure) to guarantee high availability, security and scalability.
• Deploy monitoring and logging solutions, including the ELK stack, to ensure performance and availability.
• Document infrastructure, deployment procedures and best practices comprehensively.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of DevOps platform management experience in large delivery organisations, preferably with a development background.
• Extensive experience designing, developing, testing and deploying DevSecOps toolchains.
• Hands‑on experience with public and private cloud IaaS/PaaS models (OpenStack, OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD methodologies, automation and configuration tools.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as PHP or Java.
• Computer Science/Engineering degree or equivalent, with 7 + years delivering software solutions.
