F5 Professional Services Consultant

About the role

C-Serv is looking for an F5 Professional Services Consultant to manage key government contracts in the MENA region. The role combines on-site work in Cairo with remote work across the MENA area and suits candidates experienced in F5 product design, configuration and deployment. The consultant leads technical solutions, guides complex troubleshooting and carries out technology health checks.

Key responsibilities

• Keep up with F5 products and technologies through self-directed learning and formal training.
• Handle technical work such as systems architecture, hardware and software specifications, design, implementation, testing, client training and deployment.
• Carry out consulting work including new installations, migrations, upgrades, configurations, iRules creation, security updates and troubleshooting.
• Identify additional product or service opportunities for clients.
• Build relationships with partners and customers across project scoping, delivery, integration, documentation and follow-up.
• Perform basic project management tasks such as status reporting, time tracking and risk management.
• Use F5 BIG-IP for deployment automation and orchestrate cloud deployments.
• Provide application security expertise, especially L7 WAF and mitigation of DoS and bot attacks.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in network or system infrastructure architecture and design, including performance and management.
• At least 3 years in customer-facing roles as a consultant or engineer.
• Strong understanding of OSI layers 5 to 7.
• Familiarity with HTTP, SSL certificates and web server administration (Apache or IIS).

Required skills

• 3 years of hands-on work with F5 LTM, Viprion and iRules.
• Experience configuring AFM with IP Intelligence (IPI) is essential.
• Valid F5 certifications (101, 201, 301a, 301b, 302 or above) are advantageous.
