Factory Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead daily plant operations and ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met. The role involves overseeing Production, Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and HSE teams within a metal, furniture, and wood manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily plant operations and production activities.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are achieved.
• Lead Production, Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and HSE teams.
• Monitor productivity, downtime, waste, and operational costs.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and Egyptian labor regulations.
• Lead, develop, and motivate the plant workforce.
• Monitor plant KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 8–12+ years of manufacturing experience, including 3–5 years in a Factory/Plant Manager role.
• Experience in the metal, furniture, and wood industry.
• Strong experience in production, maintenance, quality, and HSE management.
• Preferred experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and TPM.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and cost‑management abilities.
